Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox is the beginning of a truly uncanny blended family of the different pop culture icons. This acquisition was said to be predicted 19 years ago.
Al Jean, the showrunner of The Simpsons, celebrated the change in ownership on Tuesday with a tweet showing the first meeting between Disney mascot Mickey Mouse and Fox’s own Homer and Bart Simpson.
Spoiler alert: It went about as well as you’d expect (meaning not good at all). There were positive feedback for this decision, but of course, a couple fans of The Simpsons were dragging the Disney for this merge on twitter.
