Olivia Jade, a YouTube influencer with millions of combined followers, is under the fire for her family’s alleged scheme. Olivia is the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, she’s a freshman at the University of Southern California, spokesperson for Amazon, and has sponsored many brands on her social media platform.
Olivia has developed a number of relationships with brands since age 14, when she first began her YouTube channel. However, due to a recent report, she may have more at risk than just her education. There is a question of what will happen with those brand partnerships after the wake of the charges against her mother, Lori Loughlin for her alleged involvement in a scheme to pay her daughter’s way into college.
In a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle, Sephora confirmed on Thursday:
“After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately,” says a spokesperson.
This abrupt decision came after many of Sephora’s fans took to their social media pages and website, due to a palette created by Olivia Jade was being sold, to demand that Sephora detach from the influencer as a result of her family’s behavior.
