Cory Luther “Luke” Perry, III, age 52 suffered a massive stroke yesterday. Luke was hospitalized after paramedics responded to a 911 call from his home.
The news of Luke’s stroke came a day after Fox announced a reboot for the series "Beverly Hills, 90210", which will include all the original stars, excluding Shannon Doherty and Luke Perry.
Luke’s fame began back in the 90’s for his role as Dylan McKay in Fox's hit series "Beverly Hills, 90210.” The series ran from 1990 through 2000, with Luke’s character appearing in 199 episodes. He currently stars as Fred Andrews on CW's "Riverdale."
Luke’s co-stars from “Beverly Hills, 90210” and fans have extended their support for a successful recovery. Ian Ziering, which played the role of Steve Sanders, wrote on Instagram, "No words can express what my heart feels hearing today's shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery."
