Born and raised in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, Lil Shakur grew up listening to rap phenomenons. The Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, and Fabulous and more influenced his music career from a young age.

Shakur's vibrant lyrical flo fuses Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Trap, and Reggae which can be heard in his records “Talkin’ Bout Money” featuring Troy Ave and “The Streets” featuring Kidd Kidd. The singer/songwriter released his Hip Hop/Pop hit single “Never Wake Up” in late November 2018. The hit song was premiered by New York City’s own DJ Self on Power 105 and DJ Drewski on Hot 97.

When he’s not making appearances on the “HotBox” with Hot 97’s DJ Enuff or opening up for recording artists, Rich The Kid, MoneyBagg Yo and performing alongside PNB Rock, he is an active influencer in his community. Lil Shakur is the founder of “Stop The Violence
Concert” sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, F.E.D.S Magazine, and Hot 97.

As of 2018, Lil Shakur currently has two distribution deals with Sony Orchard for his label F1 Records and Steve Stoute at United Masters for F1 Music Group. The anticipated F1 Records Mixtape is set to be released early March 2019.
