As cities protest and move together in the spur of anti-police brutality and the death of Minneapolis native George Floyd, Los Angeles is among many major cities who have witnessed the violence and aggression caused by police and those in uniform.
During the George Floyd protest in Los Angeles this past weekend, actor and notable vocal activist Kendrick Sampson expressed anger and hurt as he showed his body after being hit 7 times with rubber bullets and batons.
"He pointed the gun DIRECTLY AT ME," Sampson wrote on Twitter. Also sharing that police purposefully hid their badge numbers while acting with aggression. Sampson also shared on Instagram that police were intentionally "aiming for peoples heads" and were looking to cause permanent damage.
From wounds on his chest, leg, and face, Kendrick Sampson posted some of the motive behind the brutal actions caused by police.
With Sampson and many others using their platform to reveal the realities of peaceful protests turned violent, more and more people are filming their experiences for what seems to be a clear battle between protestors and the police.
