Gluten Free Sandwich Loaf 🍞

Sandwich Loaf...

Here is a good recipe for making your own bread.


Bread Recipe Ingredients


1.5 cups warm water

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

⅓ cup honey

1 tablespoon kosher salt

3 cups whole wheat flour (Not chapatti atta)(gluten-free)

I cup of lentils flour (I make my own at home)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon sugar


Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar and keep it aside for 10 mins.


Step 2

Mix in 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1/3 cup honey, and salt. Stir in whole wheat flour and knead it into a nice dough.

Keep it covered to rise for an hour.


Step 3

Now punch the dough and release the air and place it in a Dutch oven or a Pullman pan and leave it for 1.30 mins to rise.


Step 4

Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and bake the bread for 20 minutes; do not overbake. Lightly brush the tops of loaves with 2 more tablespoons of melted butter or milk when done.


*I love experimenting and this is another successful one .. this is a sandwich loaf made with lentils and gluten-free flour.... and it’s a healthy bread 🍞.. loved the way it turned out.
